Doodles is a playful and experimental series created from scrap paper collected during Meikle’s painting classes. These sheets, originally used by students to clean brushes and brayers, become the foundation for new work. Meikle sketches spontaneous line drawings on the reverse side of each sheet and then cuts along the lines, allowing the accidental marks to guide the final form. The result is a unique, unpredictable creative process that transforms discarded materials into dynamic compositions.

Each Doodle cut-out is a one-of-a-kind, unique piece, and no prints are made.
